Beggars are one of the most familiar groups in every city. They accompany us from our childhood until now, and I've found both the beggars and I change in this journey. copyright dedecms.
Years ago as a little girl, when I came across some old and disabled beggars on the road, I'd donate some pocket to them, happily thinking I was helping.
s I have grown older, I've found the number of beggars has grown larger and they are more diverse. They appear in every corner of the city, on the overbridge, on the street, near restaurants, and even at your door. In contrast with the old days, it seems like the situation with beggars today is more complicated, which has made me hesitate before deciding whether to help them or not.
Blog writing, unknown several years ago, is a common word nowadays. People write about their lives in their blogs on the Internet. Blog writing can give people a lot. First, it is a way to relieve the stress in life by taking things out. Second, friends may look at the blogs, discuss the problems mentions in the blogs, and then provide possible solutions together and see the problems comprehensively. Third, if the people write their blogs in the language they are learning, definitely it is an excellent way to study.
Of course, there are negative points in this new type of writing. On the one hand, people may write about classmates or workmates around them, and these stories may be spread, thus influencing the relationships between people in reality. On the other hand, if people spend too much time and effort on blog writing, maybe they have no chance and spirit to have face-to-face communications. Consequently, their ability to deal with people in life may decrease.
For me, it is an easy thing. The most important is what people write and how people look at their blogs. People write things that they think can be shared, for example, comments on books or movies, feelings for the nature, academic questions. The information can benefit others without privacy being intruded. In the Meantime, blog writing is only one way of communication and will never take the place of face-to-face communications. If thought of this way, blog wiring may be an enjoyable experience to share information and opinions; but we can never neglect the face-to-face contact in real life.
How time flies! It has been two years since I came to XXX College. In the two years, many things have happened. I also meet a lot of friends here.
Two years is not too long for man's life. But the two years I lived on campus has changed me a lot. For example, from the day I was born to the day I went to school, I had never left home alone for a long time and do housework by myself. How to deal with my roommates and classmates? These questions were all difficult for me to work out at that time. Today I get on well with them and do everything in life calmly. But all these changes were not easy for me. Sometimes I feel lonely, angry and also homesick. But fortunately I meet a lot of good friends. They helped me spend these sad days. I find words cannot express my sincere thanks to them. When they need help, I will do everything I can to help those who helped me before.
I'll have another two years in college, which I will treasure with my friends.
Everything in college will be my great memory in my life for ever.
Nowadays on the one hand colleges and universities recruit a large number of students every year, on the other hand students will be in a more petitive labor market than before after four years study. But there are still many graduates go home without job.
With more graduates and less job opportunities, students are encouraged to start business on their own when they graduate from university. They can start anything they are interested in, make decisions on their own, and obtain the fruit of their own labor. Only by this way will graduates bee more independent, confident and creative.
However this process is supposed to get the support of government. So the government should provide these students with special policies, and lead them into a right road.
With time goes by, it bees a bit hard for me to remember everything about myself at the first day of my University life. However, there was one thing for sure that I did feel quite excited and curious about my university. There is no doubt that students like me have struggled for a long time so that can be permitted to enter the university.
Bringing with expectation, I got into Zhejiang Gongshang University. Generally speaking, it's an interesting and fantastic place for us to study and live in. Every day a series of outgoing people get into my eyesight. Curious and out of politeness, I'd talk to them heart to heart. Here I make friends with my new classmates from everywhere around China. What's more, time and weather permitting, I will enjoy jogging or playing basketball with my classmates on the playground, tired but happy. When staying in dormitory, I choose to read news online and sometimes watch a film for relaxing. However, a good student can never leave his study behind. When it es to study, hard problems never upset me, instead they arouse me. Rather than ignoring it, I'd think carefully for a while and ask my classmates for help.
To be honest, there are some things I don’t deal with properly. For instance, once I spent nearly a whole day playing puter games. Personally, we university students are already adults and it's our obligation to develop ourselves in University by learning new professional skills. Not until we take a right attitude towards our study and life can we win a rich and colorful experience in University.
Every year hundreds of thousands of people in China take civil service exams conducted at various levels in the hope of becoming government employees. Among them, college graduates are a fast-growing force that can’t be ignored. The craze for being a civil servant is not limited to liberal arts majors, as it’s also gaining popularity among science and engineering students.
In the final analysis, this growing trend among the youngsters is mainly attributable to two factors – ambitions and comforts. On the one hand, many ambitious college graduates view these exams as a springboard to a higher social status, greater power and prestige, on which many of their other wishes rest. On the other, as being a civil servant generally means a stable income, enviable healthcare and pension programmes, as well as other comforts of life, it’s quite an appealing career option to many people, especially in this age of sluggish world economy.
Personally, the desire to be a government official is beyond reproach, as the nation and the people do need an injection of new blood into the civil service sectors. The fresh-faced college graduates, armed with lofty ideals, new vision, and strong drive, are undoubtedly among the best candidates.
University Students’ Pursuit of Famous Brands
“What perfumes are you wearing?” “Aren’t your shoes Nike’s latest release?” “I like the Mickey bag you bought yesterday.” “I hear the Jack & Jones store is on sale this week. Do you wanna come along?” Don’t feel surprised if you hear them coming out of the mouth of college students. It’s quite common to hear and see college students swapping information about the brands they like and the products they use. In fact, discussions about brand names have become one of the college students’ favourite pastimes. They learn about the latest fashion from each other, exchange tips about when and where to get the item, and buy it at their earliest convenience. “Keeping up with the Joneses” is their conviction – “If the Joneses have it, how could I have not?”
About this current mindset of the college students, many people may hasten to show their disapproval. They’ll probably take it to be a reflection of the students’ vanity and superficiality. And they may lecture them on the virtue of being thrifty.
However, I beg to differ. For one thing, name-brand products are usually quality products. As such, they are something beautiful, endurable, and reliable. “The love of beauty is common to all,” goes the proverb; therefore, there’s nothing to blame about the pursuit of famous brands. For the other, college students are old enough to make their own decisions. Likewise, they must abide by the consequences if they make an ill-advised one. If they let their pursuit of brands eat into their budget for other more important issues, they should be able to correct their mistakes and keep everything in moderation. So this becomes no other than a good chance to learn management, isn’t it?
China has the largest population all over the world which makes it difficult to develop economy well. Thinking about Chinas economy development some hold the view that it is necessary for China to implement one child policy. While others think that one child policy does no good to childrens growing up. I am in favor of the latter opinion.
Firstly one child policy will make children feel lonely. It means every couple only has one child. We know clearly that there is not everything children are willing to tell their parents. Growing up with no brother or sister, the child may be easily in mental problem such as autism. In addition, parents with only one child will spoil their child overly. As a consequence the child will be the so called little emperor or little princess. When the child grows up it is difficult for the child to adapt to the world the society
All in all to some extent one child policy will solve the large population problem but from the perspective of long term development of china it does no good. Because we must take the young generations healthy growing up into consideration.
The problem of NEET, once well-known in the UK and Japan, has been brought into public attention now in China. NEET refers to the group of the young who are not currently engaged in education, employment or training. Most of these young people just stay at home or idle about, avoiding employment and relying on their parents.
There are mainly two reasons for this phenomenon. For one thing, with the expansion of university enrollment, an increasing number of college graduates pour into job-hunting market every year. Unfortunately, some of them are not fully prepared and thus bee unemployed the time they graduate. For another, some young people are badly spoilt as the only child of their family, so they psychologically and financially depend on their parents even when they are already grown-ups.
To solve this problem, first, colleges should provide pre-job training courses for the young. Second, parents should cultivate their children the sense of independence. Last but not the least, college students should equip themselves with skills and knowledge so that they will bee petitive when seeking jobs.
Today,as the life standard has improved, people have more money to chase amusement, travel is their first choice. So there are a lot of people on the journey during the public vacation, some people even quit their jobs to do it.The trip without plan was favored by many people since a few years ago,it was the attitude towards life.
Though people are proud of taking the independent travel, especially when they just go anytime and anywhere, only a few people take action. Some day,as I had the long summer vacation,I suddenly had the idea that I could take a trip without plan.So I asked two of my friends to joined my team.We booked the tickets and and hotel, then the next day,we took the train. We talked and appreciated the scenery outside the window. When we arrived the city,we just walked along the street and enjoyed the feature.
It was such great experience for me,sometimes we consider so many things and miss the joy of life.Taking a trip without burden and just go to any place you want once in your life.

Most of us may have such experiences: when we are far away from the city we live in, we tend to think we know nobody there. But chances are that we may run into one of our old classmates, or friends on the street. At that moment, we would cry out: "What a small world!"
Why is the world getting smaller and smaller? For one thing, modern technology has made various means of transportation more and more advanced. Buses, trains planes, taxis, ships are available in most cities of the world. They carry goods and passengers to and from every corner of the world. For another, with the development of the society, people are contacting with one another more frequently. Everyday we must come across a lot of people known or unknown to us. The more advanced a society is, the more contacts with others we make.
So we draw the conclusion that as long as technology makes progress, the world will be getting smaller and smaller.
All across the country a great diversity of custom-made classes are mushrooming, in which special training is provided concerning computer skills, arts, sports, and other extracurricular specialties like maths and writing. Among them language crash courses for various tests, such as CET, BEC, TOFEL, IELTS, GRE and so forth, are especially noticeable for its wide range and high attendance rate.
Some consider it advisable to attend such classes while others believe it unnecessary. The former argues that it’s far more effective to command these special skills with the help of an experienced trainer than to work at them on their own. They are convinced that these training classes can make up for what is not taught in school, hence, more competitive edge over their peers. The latter group of people, nonetheless, criticize it as a sheer waste of resources. They warn that the quality of most training courses is questionable, as they are marketed to get money out of our pocket rather than get knowledge into our head.
As far as I am concerned, a little bit of such special training does us no harm, but too much of it can only prove to be counter-productive. Anyhow, the deprived free time can be better invested in recreation at weekends, talking to an old friend, or simply enjoying a long-overdue vacation.
