Steven Jobs, born in 1955, is an American businessman and inventor. He is the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Apple. Jobs once served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios, and became a member of the board of The Walt Disney Company.
In the late 1970s, Jobs, with his teammates, made the Apple II series a big success, but his introduction of Mac computers was not as successful as he hoped for. So he was forced to leave the board of Apple in 1985.One year later, he cofoundered Pixar, whose film, the Toy Story, was a big hit in 1995. He returned to Apple in 1996.
