nowadays an increasing number of students flats have tv receivers installed in them. tv presents a vivid world in front of tudents. boys could enjoy sports games at will. some programs help students recharge (再充电) their knowledge and keep them abreast of(跟上) modern developments. tv receivers enrich their learning life.
obviously, students are not free from any troubles. some students are addicted to(沉溺于) tv. tv receivers in some flats are still on late at night or never turned off on weekends. some students spend much spare time watching tv programs, which is seriously interfering with their responsibilities at school. still some students eyes are getting worse.
in my opinion, moderation (适度,适可而止) is the key to everything including watching tv programs. i would not recommend that students try to eliminate tv receivers totally from their flats. however, we need to strike some kind of a balance between the tv programs and school studies. learning to successfully manage time at a young age will definitely pay off in later life.
Currently, many problems concerning the safety of food have popped up. As for me, I believe at least three factors account for this issue.
First, I observe that profits drive many food producers to commit illegal things. They aim to gain more money at the expense of consumers health. Second, the overuse of agricultural pesticide has resulted in the degradation of food quality. The excessive pesticide bears enormous health hazard for people. Furthermore, some food producers inject hormones into domestic animals so as to make them grow more quickly and thus they can turn in more profit. As a result, peoples health has been seriously disturbed.
All in all, food safety is such a great concern, and we all should do establish laws and implement them effectively to avoid producing toxic foods.

Short-term goals involve outcomes expected during the next 12 months. These goals are more performance oriented, and they help with achievement of intermediate goals. Examples of short-term goals are earning an A in a course, learning how to program a computer or performing an experiment.
In recent years, the number of people who try their best to lose weight has been increased, especially female. However, some people are so desired to be slim that they get some disease. So there is no doubt that it is important to find scientific and functional ways to lose weight. Here are some tips which can be followed.
First, have an optimistic attitude towards your weight and you should believe that after some efforts you will lose weight. Do not too long for being slim because it is a process and nobody can succeed during one night. Second, it is essential to keep on a diet. Going on a diet in a scientific way will do something good for your final goal. For instance, enrich the breakfast and eat less at lunch and dinner. Besides, eating some fruits and more vegetable is helpful. Third, do regular exercise. Regular exercise will not only make you healthy but also provide you a good mood. Remember, doing regular exercise is one of the most important tips for losing weight. So these are three tips for losing weight and they will do well in losing weight. If you follow them, you can achieve your final goal sooner or later.
