It was very fine today. It was neither too hot nor too cold.He Song and I went to Beijing Zoo in the morning. The animals were so interesting that everyone liked them very much.
We watched the bears for a long time. They were really lovely. One of them was standing and opening the mouth. Another of them was sitting on the ground and waving its arm like saying hello to us. The other two guys were boxing. We had a good laugh at it. But at that time I saw a visitor throwing food to them. Animals are natural resources that people have wasted all through our history. Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Why should people care? Because we need animals, and because once they are gone, there will never be any more. Animals are more than just beautiful or interesting.
