This afternoon when I was sleeping， I was woken up by a noise from the living room. I got up to see what was happening. I was walking outward when suddenly I saw a stranger in the living room through the crack of the door. He was searching and throwing things here and there.
He must be a thief. Then I called the police without causing his notice. The thief was caught easily.
When we are in our classroom after 8：30 in the morning，we should not keep the lights on to avoid wasting electricity since there is enough light in the classroom.And if it is cloudy and rainy and lights are on，we should turn off the lights after school.Another thing we can do is to protect the forest which is reducing.We should use both sides of paper and we should not use paper cups and disposable chopsticks which are made of trees.

其实，爸爸读书时英语也不怎么好，但为了给我补起来，，他买了英语磁带、英语词典，先自己学，然后给我教。首先，从最基本的'英文字母a、b、c、d……开始，爸爸读一个，我跟着读一个，开始我觉得很难学的，特别是“i”“r”这两个字母怎么也读不准、分不清。后来，爸爸给我教了个办法，小树发芽是r，这样我一下就分清了这两个字母的读音，等我会读这些字母时，开始教我怎样在英语本上写，学会这些才教我学习单词，爸爸把单词归了类。先教我1-10这十个数字的读写，再教星期的读写……学单词可比学字母又难多了，一个单词读上三五次也读不准，但我们不放弃，反反复复的读，直到读会为止，读会再教我背下这个单词，爸爸要求我每天记两个单词。一有时间还要听听英语磁带。
现在我觉的学英语不那么发愁了，而且学会了许多英语单词。老师教过的单词也能记下来，学过的课文也都会念了。
