　　In this day and age, it\’s not uncommon to see employees working overtime in various types of companies. This phenomenon is particularly prominent in foreign companies, private enterprises, and joint ventures. From my perspective, there are two primary reasons why people work overtime.

　　Firstly, excessively high workload is a legitimate reason for overtime work. In such cases, employers should provide adequate compensation for their employees either through overtime pay or vacation time. Secondly, some employees may not be suitable for their current positions. If that is the case, the employer should help these employees to improve their work efficiency. If they still cannot meet the job requirements, the employer may consider either switching them to another position or, in the worst case scenario, dismissing them altogether.
