一年一度的暑假马上就要开始了，我们高兴之余不忘安全。每年暑假前后是中小学生安全事故，尤其是溺水事故和交通安全事故的多发期。溺水死亡主要由于孩子私自下河游泳、到河边玩水、钓鱼或捉龙虾等引起，交通死亡主要由于学生违章骑车、闯红灯、不走斑马线和不及时躲避危险等引起。
这些事件严重影响家庭、学校正常生活和学习。为了防止类似事件的再次发生，让学生过一个安全、文明、有意义的暑假，今天我们利用这段时间围绕“安全”这个主题，提醒同学们注意几方面的安全问题。
1、要注意防汛、防雷电的安全。
暑假我们将处于多雨天气，伴有雷电，并可能出现雷雨大风。雷电发生时尽量不要呆在户外;不要把铁器扛在肩上高于身体;要远离铁栏铁桥等金属物体及电线杆;躲避雷雨不要选择大树下及高楼旁等。
2、要注意防溺水安全。

一、活动背景
英语作为一个大学生必备的素质之一，其重要性是不言而喻的。在二十一世纪的今天，各个领域对大学生英语口语等技能的要求也越来越高。为进一步营造浓厚的英语学习氛围，丰富校园文化生活，提高实际运用的技能，给广大仲园学子提供一个展现自我，提升自我的机会和舞台，我院系协助学校外国语学院举办大学生英语演讲比赛仲恺赛区初赛。我们希望通过本次活动一来可以选出一名优秀的选手代表我们环境学院参加仲园英语演讲比赛，二来借此提高同学们学习英语的积极性，增强英语口语训练，并从中获得乐趣。
二、具体方案
1、主办单位：环境科学与工程学院
2、参赛对象：环境学院12级全体学生
3、比赛形式：以个人为单位
